For purchases with a value above €143,000 EFSA uses the open call for tenders procedure.
To view the procurement documents for a call of interest to you, click on the title of the call listed below, which will take you to the Funding & Tenders Portal. There you can download all procurement instructions and forms related to that specific call (invitation letter, tender specifications, draft contract and any templates necessary for offer submission.

Bevorstehende Ausschreibungen €140k+
Die EFSA veröffentlicht eine Vorabinformation (PIN), um die Wirtschaftsteilnehmer darauf hinzuweisen, dass wir in Zukunft eine Ausschreibung planen. Eine PIN wird nicht bei jeder EFSA-Ausschreibung veröffentlicht, sie dient nur zu Informationszwecken und ist für die EFSA nicht bindend. Sie ist ein Mittel, um die Transparenz bei unserer Planung bevorstehender Ausschreibungen zu erhöhen und es potenziellen Lieferanten und Dienstleistern zu ermöglichen, sich im Voraus auf Ausschreibungen für bevorstehende Aufträge vorzubereiten. Die EFSA kann die PIN auch verwenden, um Wirtschaftsteilnehmer aufzufordern, ihr Interesse an einer Teilnahme an der Ex-ante-Marktforschung und -analyse zu bekunden.

For purchases with a value above €15,000 and equal to or below €143,000 EFSA uses the “negotiated procurement procedure” which involves inviting candidates of EFSA's choice to submit an offer. Additionally, as EFSA wants to keep cooperation opportunities as open as possible, it is also possible for you to express an interest in being invited to these negotiated procedures. 2024 EFSA Scientific Cooperation plan
The 2024 EFSA Scientific Cooperation plan provides an overview of the calls for tenders (procurement) and calls for proposals (grants) which EFSA intends to launch during 2024, including indicative title, budget and timing for call launch. This information is indicative and does not constitute an obligation on EFSA to launch any given procedure.When a call is actually launched, it will be advertised both on the EFSA website and the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
